*Artist Managment
Bandana Management Ltd was formed
in 1998 by Brian Lane, who for many years has
been a successful manager in the music industry.
Brian has managed, amongst others, Yes from 1970-1990,
Asia from 1981 to 1988, the Buggles and Vangelis.
He also managed Daley Thompson, arguably the greatest
athlete who ever lived.
Having given up management in
1991, Brian got the bug again but this time sought
to develop artistes from Sweden and Norway, as
there was a shortage of international management
ability looking after a lot of under developed
talent.
From Sweden Bandana signed the
A*Teens who between 1999 and 2003 sold in excess
of 5,000,000 albums world wide making them one
of the most successful teen bands ever and E-Type
who with his fusion of rock and Euro dance is
one of the biggest stars in Scandinavia.
In Norway Espen Lind was launched
and became the first Norwegian artiste after A-ha
to succeed internationally, scoring a major hit
throughout Europe with the song "When Suzanna
Cries" and his debut album "Red".
Bandana persuaded A-ha to reform
in 1999 and since then they have had two million
selling albums as well as toured world wide to
packed houses.
Currently Bandana are developing the careers of three female stars, Heather Small who is one of the finest female pop singers in the UK, Katherine Jenkins a brilliant mezzo soprano from Wales and also Britain's Got Talent young singing sensation Faryl Smith.
